When I am plagued by demons stark insane
The night is longer than eternity.
In charred dead dreams of fire and death and pain
My buried ghosts come back again for me.
Across a bloody stream to lands thought safe
I'm driven out of sleep by foul nightmares
I shudder as my peace of mind is raped,
Awaken and my sanctity runs scared.
I'm frozen and held captive in both realms
The Queen of Hell who bears Illusion's mark
On sea of ice with madness at the helm
My mind is thickened with confusion dark.
Forever lost, frigid Persephone
Cold morning now will never come for me.
