The Numan Network
Site Located In: America |
An Alien Cure Produced by Jerry V A small site catering to Numanoids in the "middle Tennessee and south central Kentucky" areas - but of course also of interest to Numanoids worldwide. A tribute site containing several cool photos, links to other "more developed" sites, and subjective commentary. |
Site Located In: England |
Are "Friends" Electric? Produced by Robert Eggleston With the demise of Matthew Holbrook's Nu-Zone website, Robert has picked up the slack and now provides *THE* best coverage of breaking Numan news - period. This site is very unique in terms of overall presentation and in content - it doesn't try to re-invent the wheel. Difficult to describe in a few sentences, it's an interactive site you need to experience rather than just read about. Highlights (apart from his news index) include online polling and the viewer survey sections. NOTE: Now at new URL! |
Site Located In: America |
Crime Of Passion Produced by Nick Sullivan A small new site but loaded with lots of pics. Nick's a big fan of the early Tubeway Army days and it shows in his site. Features include interviews from various media. |
Site Located In: Germany |
Dominion Day Produced by Raschid Karabek A smaller tribute page that doesn't pretend to be anything else. In fact, in Raschid's list of other Numan sites, he refers to them as "fundamentally less pathetic" than his own - gotta love that sense of humour. Features some background info on Gary, and Raschid's own personal discography. |
Site Located In: England |
The Gary Numan Chat Channel Produced by Robert Eggleston Part of the "Are 'Friends' Electric?" website, this is a place where Numan fans from all over the world can get together once a week and chat together in real time. A Java-compliant web browser is required. |
Site Located In: Canada |
The Gary Numan Digest Produced by Derek Langsford & Joey Lindstrom
This is an American-based twice-a-week mailing list, dedicated to all
things Numan, that's been around since 1992. It features a monthly
"Gary's Q&A" section plus lots of discussions amongst fans who hail
from all four corners of the world. It's an excellent source of news and
information. To subscribe, simply send email to numan-request@cs.uwp.edu and
put the word SUBSCRIBE (alone) on the first line of the body of your
message. It will then be emailed to you twice a week!
The above link is to the Digest's temporary home on the web, namely the
Deadliner section of The World
Wide Webb. The Digest will move to its featured site on the new
"Numan Server" when it comes online later this year.

Site Located In: Japan |
Japanuman Produced by Shin-Ichi Ueda This page proves that one can build a very interesting and entertaining web page without a lot of fancy graphics, sound clips, etc. The Japanese author's English isn't perfect, but it doesn't have to be. His page gives us an insight into just what a splash Gary Numan made in the Japanese music scene in the late '70's and early '80's. The man's a fan and his page is an entertaining must-read. Definitely check out his impressive links page! |
Site Located In: Germany |
Machine + Soul Produced by Klaus Sauer This site is already one of the most visually attractive and professional-looking Numan sites on the internet. Klaus intends to keep this site fully bilingual (English/German), providing service not only to his fellow German Numanoids but to all of us in the English-speaking world as well. |
Site Located In: America |
My Shadow In Vain Produced by Alyssa Jaraba A brand-new and evolving site, the author has tied this into a role-playing game that features a character modelled after, and also named after, our good buddy Gary Numan. There's a female perspective here, which had been sorely missing from the Numan Network since the demise of the Mellisa Smith's "Sleep By Windows" site, but which has since returned in force (along with Miss Marlene's "Absolution" page). |
My World Storm Site Located In: America |
My World Storm Produced by Rick Stott The newest Numan site - not a lot there as of this writing, but Rick's a huge fan, not to mention a longtime fan, and I expect this one will gather some steam as time goes by. |
Site Located In: America |
North American Gary Numan Fan Club Produced by Jim Napier The man who once brought us "The Official North American Gary Numan Fan Club" is back online with the web version. Although the Club, and the associated fanzines, is now out of action, this site gives you some of the history of the Club and offers (for sale) past issues of the fanzines, some audio recordings, and the like. Includes, for some reason, a photo of Jim and a completely-awful Canadian singer named Jane Siberry. :-) |
Site Located In: England |
NumanBoy Produced by David Ellison A smaller site billed as "my personal homage to the career and music of Gary Numan". It features loads of pics and stories revolving around the 1997 (UK) and 1998 (US/Canada) Exile Tours. |
Site Located In: England |
Numan Complex Produced by Paul Denman Part of a larger site called "The Complex", which also features such topics as the Manic Street Preachers and the Fabians, Paul's site is a graphicly-rich extravaganza. |
Site Located In: Spain |
NumanMania Produced by Patxi Villegas With the addition of NumanMania the Numan internet experience became multi-lingual. Based in Spain, Patxi's site is in English and Spanish and brings a wide variety of news and information to the Spanish-speaking audience, who would otherwise have no access to it (or would have to learn English). Patxi has his work cut out for him - distilling all of the information available from other sites and translating it to Spanish, then presenting it in a form that doesn't drown the audience with information overload. So far, Patxi deserves full marks for an excellent job - plus a big pat on the back for providing this vital Numan link to the Spanish-speaking community. |
Site Located In: Germany |
N U W A Y S Produced by Markus Dietrich The return of Germany's first Numan page, now offers a much expanded lineup of information including tour dates, biography, and special information for German fans. |
Site Located In: England |
NuWorld Produced by Gary Numan This is the 100% Official Gary Numan Site on the internet, authored by Gary himself. Contains tons of unique photographs, sound clips from upcoming releases, Numan News, the whole enchilada! You're not a Numan Fan On The Web unless you've visited this site! Highlights include online merchandise ordering, the Numan Interview, and inside information straight from the man himself. |
Site Located In: Australia |
Outland Produced by Martin Purvis Martin takes the Numan Experience "Down Under" with this first Australian Gary Numan site. The first thing that strikes you about "Outland" is the humour - see "Gary Numan's Rap Sheet" for an example of what I mean. The site is irreverent and fresh, and even pokes fun at people who didn't like the "Outland" album (Martin loves it). Martin is also an extremely nice guy who'd give you the shirt off his back, truly a classy individual... and my saying so has nothing to do with really nice write-up he gave *ME* on his site. :-) |
Site Located In: Belgium |
Prophecy Produced by Joeri Peeters Not all Numan fans are English-speaking, and neither are all Numan web sites English-speaking. This one caters specifically to Numan fans in Belgium, of which there's a relatively high number, and specifically to those who are NOT English-speaking and can't take advantage of all the other sites out there. Plus, it's a really good looking site to boot, worth a look even if you don't speak the language. :-) |
Site Located In: Germany |
Random 3: The Gary Numan Fanprojekt Produced by Klaus Sauer This is the home of the fan tribute album - specifically, a project started by Klaus Sauer in which fans record their fave Numan tracks for release on a special tribute CD. If you've got any musical talent whatsoever, which obviously rules ME out, then check this out. |
Site Located In: America |
Remind Me To Smile Produced by Michael Day A small news'n'views site with a bit of a religious angle. Mike's perspective is somewhat unusual - he is a Numan fan yet is disturbed by Gary's use of anti-religious themes recently, particularly with "Sacrifice" and "Exile". Not to worry tho - you don't need to be of a religious bent to enjoy this site. |
Site Located In: Scotland |
Replicant's Room Produced by Replicant6 & SisterSurx This site is *LOADED* with multimedia, from sound clips to full Numan videos playable on Mac and Windows machines. You'll spend many a long hour trying to download everything available. It's a well-designed site with lots of eye and ear candy along the way. |
Site Located In: America |
Scar Produced by Troy L. Walters This site seems to be starting out as a one-page tribute to Numan, although Troy doesn't rule out expanding things a bit. What's cool about this site, which seems to be the rule with Numan sites rather than the exception, is that Troy brings a uniquely personal perspective to it, allowing you to see the Numan world through Troy's eyes. |
Site Located In: America |
Scary Numan Produced by Riana Pfefferkorn This is what happens when lovely, impressionable young ladies fall under the evil spell of Our Man Gary. Truly, a sad story. :-) Actually, what we have here is a very amusing web site that bills itself as the "smallest, silliest" member of the Numan Network. Riana is blessed with a particularly odd creative talent and her site should not be missed. |
Site Located In: America |
This Is My House Produced by Michael J. Damrath This one's bold, brash, and in-your-face in a cool way. After all, there are very few Numan sites that use the word "Dumbass" prominently. :-) It has started small but has a very clean, polished look and feel. Features a discography, a "Nu-Rant", and a few other bits and pieces. It promises to be one of the better sites in the months to come. |
Site Located In: America |
The Tubeway Produced by Chris Schumann The very first Numan page (that anyone knows of) to hit the Web. Primarily this site offers a mini-discography complete with pictures and lyrics, along with links to other Numan-oriented sites. It hasn't been updated much recently but the author promises that he'll resume work on it soon! |
Site Located In: England |
White Stingray Produced by Jon Bunting A smaller site striving to stay original amidst a veritable sea of Numan sites. And Jon's managing to do it, too. Among other features, Jon has digitized several tracks from the (in)famous "Live At The Roxy" bootleg tape and made them available on this site. |
Site Located In: Canada |
The World Wide Webb Produced by Joey Lindstrom & Racey Sealock Boasting a strong visual appeal, this site has been called one of the best looking Numan sites on the net - by Gary himself! The sheer volume of information presented is impressive - broad and certainly deep, which helps offset the author's handicap of being geographically a very long way from "the action". Highlights include multimedia, a (nearly) complete lyrics library, Kay Teel's Gary Numan FAQ, & Dave Datta's discography combined with a graphical mini-discography. |
