The best thing about being a Numan Fan is the fact that his music touches a spot that no other music has been able to reach. Why this is the case ? Well, I don't know. However most other people treat music as something to have on in the background, the main reason for this appears to be that there is no artist which they really enjoy. There are lots of other groups which I listen to, but I never get really excited when a new album is released.

Different Numan songs remind me of different points in my life, 'Telekon' reminds me of my first record player, Music for Chameleons reminds me of taking my 'O' levels, Warriors - The first time I saw Gary live, Berserker and The Fury - My college days, Metal Rhythm - My first Job, Sacrifice - My hardest software project. For some reason Sacrifice always fills me with confidence, and makes me ready for any challenge.

I find I can listen to any Numan album and it still sounds fresh and original. Numan is unique, I am just glad I was born in the same era as him!
